Dear Fellow Members,

I am happy to report that we’ve sailed through our busy season and are in good shape going into the last quarter of the calendar year.

From a Membership standpoint, we have grown year over year by 24 member families to 356 in total.  This is largely due having had 22 fewer resignations YTD than this time last year.

Due to the higher Member count, better utilization of our Storage Facilities, a great year for Summer Camp, among a few other factors, our Financials are also ahead of where we were last year.  Our Income before Taxes & Depreciation has improved by more than $20,000 YTD.  A portion of those funds have been applied to our mortgage, which you may have heard, is now paid in full!

One of our larger upcoming expenses likely needed in the next year will be the Bulkhead Project.  Marvin Day & Frank Pontious are in the process of organizing and conducting the due diligence for securing our shoreline, protect the trees in that area, and improve the safety for all of us.  More details to come.

We hope that you will join us for the Fall Members Meeting on October 25th at 5:30pm to get a recap of the year and learn more about our plans for the coming year. Brats & Buns will be provided.

Thank you for your Membership, and please take the time to complete the upcoming Member Survey which Oreon Scott and many of you have been working hard on.

Fair winds and following seas,
