We hope this letter finds you well, and we are happy to report that Club is in good shape thanks to many of you, as well as our dedicated staff.
Membership & Revenues are up, our liabilities are down substantially year over year, and several projects around the Club are getting done. A special thanks to Frank Pontius and his pack of Skilled Volunteers for all the dock repairs. Also, thanks to Gary Noble and all those Volunteers that came out to work on the grounds.
This past month we had a record turnout for our Memorial Day Picnic, in spite of the excessive heat, and prior to that we had an exceptional turnout for our Summer Pool Kickoff Party. Thanks to Lauren Carroway and all of the Pool Committee Volunteers & last, but not least, to Sally Germer & the Social Committee for all their efforts on the many Club events including the Memorial Day Picnic. I know I’m missing many of you & I’m sorry. Please let me hear about it.
On June 21st- 23rd we will be hosting the Lowcountry Regatta, our biggest Regatta of the year and we look forward to seeing you there in one capacity or another.
This year the LCR will be immediately followed by BYSC hosting the Y-Flyer Nationals which will require extra Volunteer hours and days from so many of our Members for it to be successful.
Fair Winds & Following Seas,
